An opportunity to represent Welsh Masters! On 4th March is the British Masters InterArea cross country challenge. It’s incorporated within the East Surrey Cross Country League (Lloyd Park, 84 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 5RA;Race Start 2:30 pm) Entry fee; £5. Closing date for entries: Thursday, 2nd March. There are 6 to score in both Men's and Women's teams, on an age graded basis. We would like to send 2 teams of 9 to represent Welsh masters. All those who are interested need to send their name/age group to Brett-davis1@sky.com and to David Watson our new board member at davidwatson1607@gmail.com who will be selecting the men’s team on an age graded basis. Also looking for a volunteer to help select the women’s team. Prize certificates to all members of the winning Area Club, plus prizes for best men's and women's age graded score.
Shield to the overall winning combined Area Club (Men + Women). Any of those selected needing vests would have these provided probably via nominated captains who Brett will get the vests to. Travel expenses up to £30 would be available, plus we will refund the entry fees of those selected. Expressions of interest are needed by 28th February and then decisions will be sent out on 1st March with all entries needing to be made online by those selected by 2nd March.
