Would you like the opportunity to represent Welsh Masters at Track and Field? The next inter-area event is indoors and is on 26 February at Lee Valley Athletics Centre, just outside London. We are really keen to field the strongest Welsh Masters’ team that we can, and we know that we have a lot of talent around here. We did brilliantly in the summer, and it is time to build on that success. To do that, we need to have the largest pool from which to select.
Selection will be made over the next few weeks and will be based on recent results on power of 10 (2021, 2022). We would like to get the provisional team out at the end of December so that people can make travel arrangements. For those events where there are no current performances on power of 10 then we will be looking for volunteers so let us know if you’d like to be considered for something more unusual such as pole vault or race walk.
Many thanks to those of you who have already responded about then women’s team - the team is shaping up nicely. If you have already replied to Eleri, then there is no need respond again. For all of the men and for the women who have not yet been in touch with Eleri then now is your chance. Please get in touch with us by the end of November and include your preferred events.

In order to compete you will need to be a member of WMAL and you will also need to be a member of an athletics club to have the necessary UKA status. If you are no longer a member and want support renewing, please do let us know. A contribution towards travel expenses is available and further information will be issued with selection.
We would love to hear from you.
C’mon Wales!
